OSTEOPATHY

I offer  general osteopathic care as well as perinatal care, pre+postnatal care for women, as well as newborns and babies, which is intended as a preventative approach that can improve functional discomfort.

Given that osteopathy is in the process of becoming a Professional Order in Quebec, I will not accept clients who are in acute pain unless they have seen their physician and received a reference for osteopathic care.

Perinatal care

Raeven offered both me and my two week old baby osteopathy treatments after a long and difficult forceps delivery. One of many complications was that I had to go home with a catheter and was having a lot of difficulty urinating. I was exhausted and discouraged as this would mean another hospital visit if I did not urinate that afternoon.

After just one osteo appointment with Raeven my anxiety decreased, body relaxed and finally I was able to pee! I highly recommend Raeven for her gentle, patient and flexible approach with new moms and babies.

General osteopathy

My first experience with osteopathy was with Raeven, and she made it an open and accessible one. As a person, Raeven is warm and welcoming, and puts you instantly at ease. As a practitioner, she is knowledgeable & professional and never hesitates to encourage her patients: 'You're doing a great job" she often tells me, when all I've done is breathed.

In the past year, Raeven has supported me and helped my body live better with anxiety, knee displacement, and jaw and neck pain. She also regularly puts my hips back in place! When I leave an appointment I often reflect that osteopathy is like magic - I don't know how those small twists and supported holds work, but I do know that I leave feeling lighter, softer, and more in touch with my body. Thanks Raeven!
